Pet Vaccinations

Marietta Doggy Daycare has strict rules for vaccinations and pets

3 vaccinations are required to board, play or be bathed at Marietta Doggy Daycare

Rabies (some are good longer than a year)

Bordetella

DHPP -Distemper, Parvo and Parainfluenza

Dogs must receive all vaccinations NO LATER than 72 hours BEFORE arrival for proper protection.

Marietta Doggy Daycare requires vaccinations at 72 hours PRIOR to arrival to verify all of your vaccinations are current.

Information on the Vaccines

Bordetella is much like the human flu, so the vaccine does not cover all strains of Bordetella, so any dog may still acquire a strain of this “flu.” That’s why we take great care to ensure protection. However, if your dog were to become sick, we recommend  “flu” we recommend veterinary care.

DHPP and DHLPP- DHLPP is a combo vaccination.  The difference between them is Leptospirosis. A veterinarian will help guide pet parents in choosing the appropriate vaccination for each dog’s age and lifestyle.

Rabies can be given in one or three year doses, and must be current within one year.

If you get to the clinic and don’t have the proper vaccinations, no problem, we can help. A few miles up the road is Julian Peckich DVM, the on call veterinarian for our daycare.  We can arrange to have your pet vaccinated usually same day. However, you’ll need to take your animal to their facility and come back for daycare in 72 hours.
